Terry & Andrews, Bristol, Conn., 8-day time & strike painted iron front mantel clock, C.1848.
CONDITION:
Original painted finish is crazed and darkened with a few small losses. Black-painted wood rear case is in good condition. Paper dial and convex upper glass are recent. Lyre plate movement, with steel mainsprings, ticks and strikes but may need cleaning; signed by makers. Ht.18".
